The default Guide to ATNM Projects contains the following phases:

Initiating

The goal for this phase is to define the project type, generate generic requirements and refine until a final, unchangeable requirement version is reached.

Planning

The goal for this phase is to develop a roadmap for everyone to follow and it includes defining the project team, responsibilities, work, ending with the kickoff meeting.

Executing & Monitoring

The goal of this phase is to use the project team and deliverables to ensure the project stays on track.

Closing

At this phase, the project is completed and either handed to the customer or to the maintenance team.

What happens during Initiation:

  • Select Project Type (Mobile, Skill, Website, other to be specified.)
  • Gather Generic Requirements from Client
  • Refine Requirements with Client
  • Draft Proposal
  • Create Project on Basecamp/Trello
  • Finalize Requirements Document and Obtain Written confirmation from Client  (Once a project has started, we will try to not accept changes, we will need to explain to the customer why we can't and the implications of the changes (in Delivery date and cost). Recommend for next version. If the customer insists, we will need to have written acceptance of new conditions (Basecamp, email, agreement, etc...)

What happens during Planning:

  • Define Project Team
  • Create Gantt Chart
  • Set Weekly Progress Meetings (include client)
  • Create Testing Plan Agreement
  • Project Kickoff

What happens during Executing & Monitoring:

  • Project Development Starts
  • Monitor & Control work and resources
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders
  • Evaluate Change Requests
  • Start Testing
  • Code Release:
    1. Mobile Apps MUST NOT be published to the App Store until payments have been reviewed and approved by the Project Sponsor.
    2. Developed code (dev and prod) MUST NOT be shared on the client server environment until payments have been reviewed and approved by the Project Sponsor.
    3. Final versions of code MUST NOT be shared with clients until payments have been reviewed and approved by the Project Sponsor.
